DIY Succulent Bar Workshop-Earth Day!

Processed with VSCO with a5 preset

Who doesn’t love a little green to bring some life to their home!? Even better, a cute little succulent. This past weekend Greg and I hosted a Terrarium Workshop! Or as I like to call it Succulent Bar! It was so fun, and we had the perfect weather to have it outside.

We Had a bar full of supplies, starting with the pots and containers. Each guest got to choose which container they wanted, and then could paint it or decorated however they liked! We then had the best selection of succulents to plant! There was an awesome variety of gravel, rocks, of course dirt, and the cutest little dinosaurs, and other fun garden decor.

I used a lot of my own items from home for decor, such as baskets to hold the dirt, table cloth, frames for pics, mason jars, and glass jars.

Walmart also has a lot of fun succulents for a great price, if you catch them in time and in season. I love shopping at Home Depot and/or Lowe’s as well. But sometimes that’s hit or miss. If you can partner with your local greenery farm, that’s a great way to do it as well! I love supporting local of course!

It was so fun to see how creative each person was, and all the different ideas everyone came up with! I hand picked all the succulents, and knew they’d be going to the perfect home. We also had a fun pastry bar with cactus themed cupcakes, and of course Strawberry Mojitos!  Be sure to sign up for my mailing list so you know when the next one is, and there will be some fun offers exclusively for those of you on my email list!! How to care for your succulents is at the bottom for those of you like me who like to kill our plants on accident!! See Below for a shopping list!
