Mimosas in the Mountains

Mimosas in the mountains?? YES PLEASE!

We recently spent the weekend in the gorgeous mountains of Gatlinburg, and boy was it beautiful. We relaxed and really just enjoyed not having an agenda. That isn’t something we do much of these days. You know, nothing? Breakfast on the porch overlooking the hills and trees, the sound of crunching leaves, birds chirping, you get the picture. It was perfect. It was also the perfect spot to enjoy some Mimosas with our favorite cocktail company.¬†

I had the privilege of teaming up with Mighty Swell Cocktail Co. for a few fun events, and they wanted me to to test out their delicious Sparkling Cocktails. They are nothing short of DELICIOUS. Their ¬†Sparkling Cocktails are made with real fruit juice and never with any artificial flavors, high fructose corn syrup, sodium benzoate or food dyes. They are so tasty, and fresh! (it’s good for you, so why not!?) Oh, and they pair up pretty nicely with some bubbly. Champagne that is! They actually pair well with a lot of different types of alcohol, but I thought it was only appropriate to have mimosas in the mountains! We also topped each mimosa off with frozen mixed berries, which added a nice touch. It was yummy and colorful! The perfect garnish. I like to use frozen fruit because they keep your drink chilled a bit longer. They have Lemon, Grapefruit, and my current fave Peach. Visit their site for other drink ideas and recipes!

So if you have any special occasions coming up, like I don’t know…. Thanksgiving, Holiday Parties…. grab some Mighty Swell for your festivities! Greg loves to make an Old Fashioned with the Lemon Flavor. It’s the perfect addition and everyone loves them!!! It’s a great drink to have around the fire, by the pool, or watching HallMark Christmas Movies! ¬†Visit their site here to find where the nearest Mighty swell is!
