Holiday Movie Night

Tis the season for hot cocoa bars and Holiday Movies! We just hosted a super fun Outdoor Movie night- with a full hot cocoa bar, oh, and a PIGS-IN-A-BLANKET BAR! Over the roasty toasty fire I might add! Oh, and it was 32 degrees outside! Not even Chevy Chase can make you laugh enough to make you forget you can’t feel your toes! But TIS THE SEASON! Self-Esteem for Dummies

Processed with VSCOcam with a5 preset

We live in such weird times. Have you seen “instagram husband”? It’s really funny, but so true. We live in a time where we are seeking approval from people we don’t know, always trying to put up picture perfect images…. all for what? To have more self-esteem? Trust me, I’m guilty of this. But I’m working on having my own confidence, and not the kind I get from a book…. Continue reading

We write and work on new songs every week. And a lot of times a specific artist will really inspire us for a new song idea or help an old idea get new life. We are finishing up a new EP, so inspiration is key.  So who’s inspiring us this week??? Continue reading

Camplight Apparel, The Cutest Kids T’s around.

Hazel Melon

I’m really excited for this week’s feature. These 2 are good friends of ours, and just some all around awesome people. When we first moved to Nashville, Jacob was our neighbor and we called him Uncle Jacob because he baby sat for our pup. I don’t think he enjoyed it, LOL. But we always appreciated his kindness and willingness to help!

They are a married team, and just launched this new project of kids T’s. They are adorable. I need some kids I guess so they can look cute in their clothes:) The money from each shirt also goes towards a great cause. Alright, meet Tiffany and Jacob, AKA Camplight Apparel.

Our names are Tiffany and Jacob and we are a husband + wife team in Nashville, TN. We design unique children’s tees that remind us of the simplicity and joy of childhood. Every shirt that we sell helps provide school uniforms to children in need.

What’s your fave song right now?

“In Her Arms You Will Never Starve” by Copeland would be a favorite at the moment.

What’s your favorite style to wear?
We like more of the indie-hipster look.
What’s your guilty pleasure snack-go-to?
Godiva cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory – so good!
What’s your MUST-HAVE beauty item you can’t live with out?
Neutrogena face wipes – I use them religiously, and my husband likes to smell my face afterwards, so I would say it’s a win-win!
Who’s the most influential person in your life?
I would have to say our friends Justin + Keary have been huge influences on us. They are currently going through an adoption and living in Uganda until it’s finalized. They have had some serious battles through the process, but God is using them to witness to others. We designed a shirt (“They Call Me Brave”) specifically for them to help raise money for their adoption, medical bills, and living expenses. 50% of the proceeds from that specific design help them.
What’s the 1 thing you want to accomplish that you haven’t yet?
I’ve always wanted to go to Culinary school. Until then, Food Network will have to do.
What’s the favorite thing in your closet?
A box of Christmas gifts – yes, I have already started collecting for this year. I’m obsessed with Christmas!
What’s your fave inspirational quote?
“That’s what love does – it pursues blindly, unflinchingly, and without end. When you go after something you love, you’ll do anything it takes to get it, even if it costs everything.” – Bob Goff
